This is a CRPO accredited program which provide internationally trained mental health professionals with professional language and cultural communication skills, as well as Canadian work experience. It helps in learning fundamental aspects of how mental health field In Ontario operates.

• Conducted individual therapy sessions for clients of diverse backgrounds, including those who have experienced trauma and psychological distress related to war and conflict• Developed and implemented individualized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic approaches to address intrapersonal conflict or trauma-related issues, such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, panic attacks and other mental health conditions• Provided trauma-focused therapy and counseling services, utilizing techniques such as Katathym Imaginative Psychotherapy (KIP), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), fundamentals of СBT and other trauma-informed interventions to support clients in processing and healing from traumatic experiences• Provided crisis intervention and support to individuals in acute distress, utilizing trauma-informed approaches to ensure safety and stabilization• Conducted psycho-education and provided resources to clients to enhance their understanding of trauma, coping mechanisms, and self-care strategies
