My primary focus was on facilitating and enhancing the communication and collaboration between Denmark and India. This included giving presentations on Danish culture, mentality and work life, analysing the differences in processes and procedures between BO, FO and TDC, sitting in on conference calls between Denmark and India and general assistance to the Indian project managers in communication with the Danish organisations. Copenhagen County: Responsible for building up a department for development and maintaining mission critical communication solutions based on CAPS from Sun. The task was to form and educate the group, define goals and success criteria and finally lead the group to the first 3 implementations. During this assignment I received a personal OTACE rating of 5.Top Danmark: Overall Project manager for converting Ideal codebase to Cobol. As development manager, I was overall responsible for all the development activities in the Company. The Company specialised in development of custom specific solutions (web-shops, backend integration, intra- and extra nets, CRM, e-intelligence and e-procurement). The department held 32 developers, project managers and technical experts.My daily tasks consisted of personnel responsibility, over-all project governance, budget and economic tracking. I was responsible for 10 person SW-development department that developed and maintained management and surveillance systems to handle large pools of payphones online.I was in charge of the coordination with the parent French organisation and other projects, including weekly reporting to the development manager.
