Ole’s background is from social economics and international trade, and 13 years experience from Business Consulting in a wide range of industries, and across business functions, before starting in Aker BioMarine in 2017. His entire career has been centered around improvement work - making employees more satisfied, more productive and through this facilitating continuous improvements across the whole value chain. With the advent of digitalization, and the opportunities and challenges facing businesses and employees that follow from this, it has become impossible to differentiate between improvements and digitalization, “IT” and “the business”. Ole established the Digitalization & Improvement team - Aker BioMarine’s solution is to integrate the business agenda, the improvement agenda, and the digitalization agenda. The team is tasked with facilitating continuous improvements across the business, utilizing all the tools in the toolbox, but with a very clear goal – improve Aker employees ability to effectively do their job, and through this release long term value both customers, suppliers, owners and the employees themselves.The team is responsible for delivering services within Big Data Analytics, Application design and implementation, Project Management, Process Improvement, portfolio management, Application Maintenance, and IT Operations. Ole holds a Master’s degree from the University of Glasgow, where he studied Business Economics.
