One year master thesis carried out in collaboration between UiB and CMR Prototech. All research was carried out at the CMR Prototech facilities. The work includes production and characterization of ceramic nanoparticles by a newly developed sol-gel method. The nanoparticles were subsequently used to manufacture thin electrolyte films for planar solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC). Investigations and analysis of the electrolyte films were performed with various methods e.g. impedance spectroscopy and electron microscopy (SEM/TEM).

Process technician during summers from 2004 through 2007 at Kårstø gas and condensate processing plant. Monitoring, follow-up operations process. Maintenance of process equipment in the main gas and condensate processing trains in addition to other system such as products storage, water treatment, fire fighting systems etc.

Supervision and follow up on the aluminum production at Hydro Aluminum Karmøy. Maintaining process equipment and operating vehicles and equipment employed in the fabrication process.

Apprentice at Hydro Aluminum Karmøy. Training in the process of aluminum production in addition to equipment and vehicles used in the manufacturing process.
