I’m a creative and flexible expat of Dutch and Estonian heritage with a curious mindset focused on personal and professional development. Over the past years I’ve lived and worked in the United States, Canada and Chile. My career has been in the world of theatre as well as in large (semi) governmental organizations. My approach to work has always been the same. I believe in using my creative energy to foster change and progress. For myself, my teams and my clients.As ICF accredited organizational- and career coach (ACC level) I’m currently running my own online business in cross-cultural and career coaching. I’ve always been fascinated by ‘culture’ and the way it’s so deeply rooted in our personalities. I use my coaching toolkit, my knowledge of cultural differences and my experience in working in multi-cultural environments to support clients who face challenges in the diverse areas where cultures meet and sometimes clash. Many of those are expats or leaders of culturally diverse teams.I’m a staunch advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion and embrace being part of the LGBTQ+ Community. Seeing myself as rather practical and down to earth, I do have a vision of a better world where ‘all the voices are heard’ instead of only the loudest.
