Developing capability through on-to-one support and directorate widee initiatives

I am responsible for advocating for the Chief Planning Office (one of the divisions in Council) in the development of HR/ capability initiatives and for project managing the implementation and embedding of HR strategic initiatives into the division. I also assist with development of systems, processes and supporting documentation that improve capability/efficiency of HR-related processes.

My role is to work with HR and other key stakeholders to ensure that the Chief Planning Office (CPO) has robust processes and systems to implement and maintain workforce strategies.I am a member of Council's Graduate Programme project team and project managed the restructure of the CPO

• Doing end-to -end recruitment for departmental restructuring.• SME on SnapHire implementation team.

Drafting new HR policies and procedures for Auckland City Council, based on previous policy/procedure, legislation and consultation with key stakeholders.

• Overall responsibility for the recruitment functions for 4500 staff (ranging from Professors to cleaners).
