As a clinical research coordinator with over 11 years of experience, I have a strong background in medicine and a passion for advancing medical knowledge and improving patient outcomes. I hold an MD and a general surgeon degree from prestigious universities in the Dominican Republic, and I have acquired multiple skills and certifications in clinical research, data management, and non-relational data on Azure.In my former role at Jacobi Medical Center, I successfully oversaw various aspects of clinical trials, from patient recruitment and consent to data collection and documentation. I used electronic trial master file (eTMF) to manage and store clinical trial documents, and ensured compliance with good clinical practice and human subject protection standards. I also communicated effectively with the principal investigator, the staff, the subjects, and other stakeholders, and attended meetings, seminars, and conferences to plan, discuss, and enhance my knowledge and performance in clinical research.
