About Olga Maxwell

Olga Maxwell is a linguist with research interests in prosody, second language acquisition, intonational phonology, Indian English, varieties of English, applied linguistics, and acoustic phonetics. In addition to research and higher education teaching, Olga has been working with international medical graduates from various first language backgrounds teaching communication and clinical interview skills; and has been helping overseas qualified doctors to enhance their spoken language skills and adapt linguistically and culturally to practising medicine in Australia.
