The aim of the project Support to strengthening Migration and Asylum management in Serbia- phase 2 was to strengthen migration and asylum management systems in Serbia, with particular focus on increasing skills of authorities in charge for implementation of newly adopted migration and asylum legislation, as well as further development of key research and training capacities of the Migration Training Centre (MTC). Tasks included:• Development of the methodology of the educational strategic framework for future MTC programs;• Leading consultative process aimed at collecting information necessary for development of the strategic framework and other activities proposed in the methodology; carrying out interviews• Developing annual training programme and report on the educational strategic framework

The World Bank implemented DG Near funded project to develop an evidence base for supporting effective reintegration of returnees in the Western Balkans. The objective was to identify existing policy responses in this area and their improvement. Within the project,carried out:Institutional/Service Mapping: overview of existing policies/services provided to facilitate the reintegration of returnees and their practical application, challenges, and good practices. Stakeholder mapping: analysis of implementing partners, including state authorities, NGOs and international stakeholders – donors. Identifying ways to effectively coordinate the Bank's activities with partners. Both mappings included series of stakeholders’ interviews (local and central level – different line ministries, service providers and NGOs) and presentation of results to national stakeholders
