Hi! My name is Olga, I have been engaged in software testing for more than 3 years. I have an excellent knowledge of software development life cycle, solid understanding of the software testing process, its stages, connection between them and their mutual influence. I am able to plan my work within the testing stage, and also set priorities within the project development stage. I am good at working with test documentation. I can determine interconnections between various levels and forms of requirements representation, and can phrase the questions for ambiguity clarification.I have strong skills in creating test documentation. An ability to use test design techniques, to decompose an object under testing and tasks helps me in creating checklists and test cases according to accepted templates. Moreover, I am skillful in test-cases analysis, in detecting and removing its drawbacks.During my working experience I had an opportunity to develop and execute test cases and test suits for various functionalities. I performed functional testing, black box testing using various test design techniques, such as equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, all-pairs and use case testing. Apart from that, I ran smoke, critical path, exploratory and regression testing. Conducted cross-browser and compatibility testing in Chrome, Firefox, MS Edge, Safari in windows 10 and Android, Mac OS. Tested GUI(graphical user interface) and usability of web applications based on usability and web standards guidelines.As for technical skills, I have working knowledge of different types of API’s, know and understand basic rules of creating good API, how http works, how to create JSON/XML file, know how to use tools that are good for particular test tasks (Soap UI, Postman), database skills (SQL). Also, I am informed how to use browsers DevTools to discover what application is calling directly. In my work I use Confluence, JIRA, and the Qase test management system. Apart from that, I have experience in installing, using and configuring virtual machines to set up test environments and to run test-cases.I am an easy adaptive team participant, similarly efficient in team and personal assignments, and participate in daily and weekly QA meetings to discuss the bug fixes and latest builds. I communicate with the team via JIRA chats, Slack, Skype calls and actively use business correspondence.
