Served as Business Opportunity Manager for planning and delivery of $$ Mln deep-water development wells in complex structural and stratigraphic settings. Worked with several service companies on developing new drilling and completion technologies for slim-hole applications to enable cost effective well design. Collaborated with production, facility, drilling, and completion leaders, project & technology teams to align well delivery with well and reservoir management activities on TLP.

Served as Business Advisor to the VP of the Development assets of Gulf of Mexico accountable for delivery of $ bln development projects (Mars, Olympus, Perdido, Appomattox, Vito, Stones and many other growth opportunities). Responsibilities included support of long term strategic planning and growth, medium term business, and short-term production decisions.Performed duties of “Chief of Staff” for the Deepwater Development Leadership Team (DLT), i.e., designed and facilitated the activities and engagements of the DLT to enable effective and efficient delivery of the promised performance, including management of accountability reviews, leadership team meetings and events, external engagements, and production performance reporting.Coordinated numerous planning activities including annual asset-level business planning, integrated production/activity planning, latest estimate reporting, and performance benchmarking.Identified best practices and business improvement opportunities, coordinated their implementation and tracked relative KPIs to measure progress.

Prepared 6-well development program for Silvertip field in the Gulf of Mexico utilizing 3D seismic interpretation, petrophysical evaluations, static and dynamic reservoir modeling. Provided well planning and geological support to drilling during delivery of $$ Mln deep water development wells (Great White field, $ Bln Perdido Development).Conducted structural trap evaluation and rock property prediction for near field exploration opportunities within the Perdido fold belt, Gulf of Mexico.Obtained Certification of Lean Practitioner and subsequently coordinated 12 Lean Projects within Perdido Development Team (2010-2011).Initiated and coordinated Production Geology Network in Houston (2009 –2011).

Performed structural analysis and trap evaluation {fault seal, top seal, palinspastic reconstructions etc} of exploration and appraisal opportunities within Niger Delta (Etan, Zaba-Zaba, Bobo, Bonga North, Bolia), Gulf of Mexico (Vicksburg, Brutus), NW Borneo (Ubah, Malikai, Kikah), and Alaska (Suvilliq) to assist with prospect ranking and placement of appraisal wells. Delivered several R&D projects related to fault & top seal prediction, fault zone property prediction, understanding of fault nucleation mechanisms and geometry of fold and thrust belts. These projects included field studies in Colorado, Utah & California, USA; Miri, Malaysia. Contributed to optimization of in-house structural geology tools, techniques and best practices and development of new ones. Served as main coordinator of Shell Internal Subsurface Geological Network: Turbodudes (2007-2009).

Provided geological support to drilling operations and planned near-field exploration wells for Akzhar, Besbolek and Karataikyz fields in the pre-salt portion of the Pre-Caspian Petroleum Province of Kazakhstan. Prepared technical assessments of potential farm-ins and near-field exploration opportunities.

Planned development campaign for Cheremkhivske, Kosachevske and Debreslavske shallow gas opportunities in the Carpathian Foredeep, Western Ukraine, utilizing stratigraphic and structural well correlations, petrophysical log evaluations and interpretation of 2D seismic profiles.

As part of research expedition to Isua greenstone belt, SW Greenland, I sampled and characterized oldest known (~3.75 Ga) well preserved metavolcanic and metasedimentary rocks including potentially ore bearing sea floor type hydrothermal alteration assemblages.http://www.geus.dk/publications/review-greenland-97/gsb180p94-99.pdf

Contributed to developing gold ore prospecting criteria in greenstone belts of the Ukrainian Crystalline Shield via study of geology and geochemistry of the near-ore mineral alteration assemblages. Results of this work are published in several peer-reviewed papers (see list of publications).

As part of geological survey team, I conducted regional mapping, geochemical sampling and magnetic survey in remote areas of Eastern Siberia during exploration campaign for diamond-bearing kimberlite pipes. Our team identified several areas enriched in kimberlite indicator minerals, which later were confirmed as diamond rich placers.
