Associate Director - Automation & Mammalian Screening
CurrentLead a team of scientists in the development and optimization of high-throughput screening assays to enable projects involved in gene therapy, microbiome health, vaccine adjuvants, and novel beauty ingredient discovery. Design customized integrated platforms (HRB), develop technical plans, and identify preferred vendors for hardware components and software packages, aligning with our scientific and technical requirements.Analyze large datasets and effectively communicate results to both internal and external teams.Develop and optimize liquid handler protocols for high-throughput assay platforms, leveraging expertise with Prime, Lynx, and Hamilton liquid handlers.Scale down cell-based assays to high throughput, executing compatible automated workflows that maintain sample and data integrity consistency within 96 and 384 well formats.Provide end-to-end guidance encompassing assay development, execution, analysis, and data reporting across various areas, including high-throughput ELISA, flow cytometry, functional screening, and protein characterization.Collaborate with in-house automation and data teams to seamlessly integrate high-throughput screening workflows into our internal systems.Design and troubleshoot laboratory automation systems to ensure the efficient and robust execution of high-throughput workflows.
