As a Senior Recruitment Consultant working for the UK’s largest independent specialist pro-vider of recruitment services to the education sector, I coordinated and managed the re-cruitment for temporary, fixed-term and permanent contract vacancies which included screening and shortlisting job applications against the job and person specifications for the role. I utilised various sourcing techniques such as online media and networking events to attract talent and create a candidate pool. Additionally, I was responsible for administration of temporary staff – managing sickness and absence, dealing with holiday requests, raising in-voice orders, maintaining candidates’ records and processing timesheets. Whilst working for Protocol Education, I secured the position of Sales Team Leader. As a Sales Team Leader, my responsibilities included providing coaching to new starters in the branch, acting as a mentor and motivating the team by arranging sales incentives and lead-ing by example. I initially joined Protocol Education as a Sales Support and later secured a promotion to Re-cruitment Consultant. As a Recruitment Consultant, my main responsibilities included man-aging key accounts and a large portfolio of schools, maintaining existing client relationships and developing new ones and working closely with hiring managers within schools to find suitable candidates to fill their vacancies.
