My current Teaching Assistant role is basically focused on supporting Ladybirds` teachers by helping to supervise activities in the classroom and outdoors, working with children on an individual, small group or whole class basis.I get the classroom ready for each planned activity and clear away materials and equipment after lessons. I support teachers in managing class behaviour and help by writing down individual children observations for their journals books. I supervise free play at lunchtime by looking after children who are upset or have had accidents (in possession of Designated Safeguarding Lead, First Aid Paediatric and First Aid at Work certificates)

I joined Busy Bees as a cover teacher. After gaining experience, I was appointed as a full time Preschool Teacher, planning activities based on the 3 Prime Areas of Learning as well as the Specific ones.Afterwards, I was promoted to be Preschool Manager, running it and training and mentoring new staff members. Following Busy Bees methodology and policies, I created my daily routine, prioritizing working on children’s independence and self-confidence. I also taught Spanish language.I became a Designated Safeguarding Leader, First Aid Paediatric and First Aid at Work.

After being teaching English language in extracurricular classes, I was asked to cover a maternity leave.I taught Spanish and its Literature, Maths, Sciences, Art and English as a foreign language to 6-8 years old children.Taking into account the guidance of the Spanish legislation, I carried out the lectures to meet the measurable learning standards stablished on it. Basing on my students’ strengths and weaknesses, I adapted the lessons to motivate them and to suit their individual and special needs.
