My name is Olga Lekova, and I am a civil engineer, architect, designer, mentor, volunteer, and public activist. A lot, right?In 2014, I moved with my family to Kyiv from Donetsk and had to start everything from scratch.In 2016, I opened my first company, ARTSTUDIOLEO, specializing in architectural design and construction work. Over time, we have grown, adding new services each year. Today, our company performs the entire cycle of design and construction work. It might be challenging, but I love my job because I put my heart into it.The year 2022 was marked by tragedy, stress, uncertainty, and danger. However, we rose to the challenges and created the social enterprise RECAST PLASTIC, which produces furniture from recycled plastic. This helps to overcome the challenges of destruction and danger. It's not just about recycling or stylish furniture; it's about sustainable solutions for communities and businesses.By combining the two companies, we design and equip shelters according to national building standards. We tackle new challenges by engaging in social projects.My mission now is not only to develop my enterprises but to do so in a way that benefits people and the environment.
