As the Nation of Makers was originating, I began by volunteering for the Marketing Tiger Team which later turned into relationship building and PR managing.When the relationship became more formalized, I oversaw the buildout of the new website, helped organize events as well as handled community and government relations.

Special Projects - Department of Defense and White House liaison.Project Manager for new locations, both international and domestic. Project Manager for Market Assessments.Responsibilities include traveling to new locations to assess the need and sustainability for a new TechShop while simultaneously building relationships with potential stakeholders, investors, and members. I was also tasked with writing, managing , and providing contract deliverables such as presentations, marketing material, market assessment documents. A number of my projects required direct oversight and management of the construction of new location, equipment purchasing, and overseeing city permitting processes. Special Projects - Department of Defense, DARPA, and White House liaison:Provided training to the US Navy and Marines on rapid prototyping equipment and makerspace management. Project managed the buildout and delivery of 3 mobile fabrication labs to be stationed at 3 Navy/Marine bases.As part of this job, I was able to get out products on the GSA schedule and bring in new contracts.I also helped coordinate on projects with OSTP such as planning for Nation of Makers and Maker Faire on the South Lawn of the White House under President Obama’s administration.

Responsibilities included managing Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkdIn, and blog. Responsible for tracking sales, customer service inquiries, and creating digital content. Additional responsibilities included analyzing sales campaigns and social media campaigns. Based on campaign results, development of new or improved marketing and sales plans.
