As a leader in digital fundraising and marketing, I have had the opportunity to design and launch multichannel campaigns that grow revenue and ROI for some of the nation’s most recognized organizations including the Smithsonian Institution, the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, AARP, the American Diabetes Association, Special Olympics, and the American Heart Association. To do this, I developed the fundraising strategy and currently oversee execution through all digital channels including email, web, digital display, search engine marketing (SEM), and social media. I also led a remote team and an in-house staff of writers, designers, and digital marketing experts while managing vendor partners as well. In addition, I regularly collaborate with scientists, medical professionals, and advocacy teams to develop accurate messaging that is in line with the organization’s mission and research findings. DELIVERED RESULTS:► Generated tens of millions in donations through digital fundraising, memorial donations, and the car donation program.► Decreased fundraising costs by 60% from over $0.60 on the dollar to just $0.22 per dollar since taking the helm in 2015 while over-delivering on digital fundraising goal by 25% in 2018.► Relaunched Search Engine Marketing (SEM) efforts after taking it back in-house resulting in a lift in conversion rate by 44% and 19% ROI growth from 2015 to 2018. ► Overhauled the digital display strategy using innovative techniques to boost revenue by more than 1,000% while increasing the return on ad spend by almost 200% over my tenure. ► Led a major eCRM migration drastically improving efficiency and ROI.I was also tapped to lead a remote team across the US responsible for digital marketing and fundraising for peer-to-peer and volunteer-led events.
