The Technology Programme Manager of Trafford Local Care Organisation (LCO) , the Trafford division of Manchester LCO. Manchester Local Care Organisation is a pioneering new type of public sector organisation that is bringing together NHS community health and mental health services, primary care and social care services in Manchester. MLCO is a public sector and a partnership organisation powered by Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, Greater Manchester Mental Health, Manchester City Council, Manchester Health & Care Commissioning and the Manchester Primary Care Partnership.I work with Trafford community services on their transformational ideas and act as an escalation point for unresolved Health Informatics matters.As the IT lead specialist I am responsible for the management and innovation of the Health Informatics Programme in Trafford. I drive the benefits and ensure the projects are successfully implemented and full potential exploited in line with the MLCO’s objectives and the TLCO’s informatics strategy.

When at LNWUH I was reporting to the CIO and Deputy CIO of London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust which is one of the largest integrated Trusts in NHS England.I provided the overall senior management responsibility for the systems managers, trainers and support teams made up of approx. 20 staff (bands 4, 5, 6 and 7s) supporting 9000 staff across four major acute hospitals and community sites.I was overall responsible for the provision of professional high quality ITsolutions including systems development, implementation, (ITIL) IT support services and training for the following clinical systems:TPP SystmOne, PAS, EMIS Web, Docman Hub, Symphony, ICE, eRS (C&B), out patient kiosks, DS32, DSX,digital dictation and a number of inhouse developed bespoke systems.I worked with Heads of Information, IG, Integration, PMO, Data Centre, Infrastructure and Engineering on operational and strategic planning and provision of resource, for delivery of programmes of work across the organisation to improve the delivery of health care.
