The live entertainment industry involves multiple deadlines, large budgets, critical audiences and robust health and safety. Often with only one chance to deliver a memorable live show or event effectively. Detailed preparation, key knowledge and fluid communication are vital to maximise the outcomeI have been fortunate enough to pursue my passion of music, lighting and production all the way through my career, since obtaining a Degree with Honours in Music and the Visual Performing Arts.Delivering my expertise to the highest standards, I specialise in the technical and production side of performances, shows and events. I am currently Technical Director at Sadlers Wells, A world leading creative organisation dedicated to dance in all is forms. Prior to this I was Head of Technical and Production at Camden's iconic Roundhouse. A multi-arts venue which hosts incredible and unique productions, events and music gigs. This after moving on from my role as Technical Manager at the world famous Royal Albert Hall.My work in the industry has spanned the past 20 years, working on a multitude of high profile events, in high profile venues alongside some of the worlds greatest performers. I have experience in many different genres in the industry from fashion shows to festivals, corporate events to street theatre as well as opera & classical concerts to rock gigs.My skills include leadership and strategic planning, technical and production management, health & safety, event and production rigging, lighting design and lighting system operations, sound system re-enforcement and venue refurbishments.
