Primary responsibility of managing the resources (both internal and external) that deliver first and second line services, with the technology aspects ranging from end user services to data analytics. With this role I am frequently hand-on with my resources to ensure delivery quality and be a relevant contributor both towards my team deliverables but also my team members. This also includes leader and mentorship responsibilities for these resources on a day to day basis. In my role, I am also operating as the administrator for the company deployment of ServiceNow and its usage across multiple disciplines. As an additional role, I am also participating as a data engineer in the deployment and usage of several data management and visualisation tools using PowerBI and various Azure products.

I started as a contractor but was offered a permanent position when a vacancy arose. I have responsibility for IT issues, both user and hardware, which occur within both Buxton and Operations Divisions Of Derbshire Police. During the period I have received a Divisional Commanders commendation for work done with the Road Traffic section in setting up software and procedures regarding the roadside alcohol breath test system and general support of the division. I have developed in depth knowledge relating to hardware, network, user, and software issues which can arise within a large organization.

Scotland I was required to solve or escalate first level calls and to log the information into the service center call logging system. The calls involved general Windows NT/2000/XP support, Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes including troubleshooting Exchange and Novell problems,

I was required to solve basic support calls and to escalate calls when required. All calls I received had to be logged into a call log database.

My role involved repairs of PC's, printers and keyboards due to hardware faults/failures.

I became self employed and did computer support around Derby and also when I went to New Zealand for a few months. Most of the work was troubleshooting hardware problems and removing viruses, also making computers more resistant to virus attacks by installing firewalls and updated anti virus software. This job involved basic network support like resetting passwords and troubleshooting network pc/printer connection problems, and also general pc maintenance work.

I was required to assist the Accreditations Manager in the construction of the Health & Safety and Environmental management system. This involved the collection, correlation and presentation of data using spreadsheets, graphs and databases; I was also required to perform Administration duties such as photocopying, faxing and answering the phone.
