Lead Host And Reservationist
CurrentLead Host at Born and Raised, the fine dining steakhouse of Consortium Holdings.-Create floor plans and sections throughout the night for servers each evening service and reassigning sections when cutting/breaking servers.-delegate responsibilities for other hosts in regards to seating, resetting of tables, alerting Sommelier, Manager, Chef, foh and boh staff of important details of the night I.e. allergies, preferences, additional requests, etc .-run the board on open table for incoming reservations, future reservations, and walk-in guests.-manage the waitlist for the bar as well as tables-answer phones throughout the night answering questions and making reservations for prospective and future guests.-work with obstacles known ahead of time and unforeseen to make sure each night runs as smoothly as possible for FOH and BOH by maintaining well timed seating of guests.Lead Reservationist at Born and Raised Steak-Forsee and maintain an even flow of reservations each night to maximize seating and table turns based on staffing, weather, and other factors (ie special events in the area).-Plot reservations based on guest requests, server scheduling, and maximizing table turns.-Responsible for booking, sending, and receiving contracts for large party reservations, prix fixe menu nights, and special events.-Work with the events manager to set up and book large parties and restaurant buyouts.-Provide clear communication and information about reservations, service, menu offerings, etc. to potential and return guests to prepare for their visit.-Document and organize important details about reservations including allergies, dietary restrictions, special dates such as birthdays and anniversarys, etc.-create templates and shift checklists for reservationist team to provide clear and concise information to guests, and to stay organized during their shifts.
