Additionally, I am pursuing my PhD at the University of Manitoba, focusing on sensor development across diverse applications using electromagnetic waves and transmission line theory, Reflectometry techniques, resonators, and RFID. My expertise extends to RF circuit design, 3D EM simulation, and various RF and antenna measurement techniques. Presently, my research is centered on mm Wave technologies and high-frequency transmission lines.Skills and Expertise • Working experience in LTE/LPWA/5G-NR/WI-FI/NB-IoT/GNSS technologies and their testing.• Good understanding of wireless certification bodies such as FCC, CE, PTCRB, and 3GPP regulations.• Skilled in RF systems design, including the selection and performance evaluation of RF transceiver chips, PAs, LNAs, RF switches, filters, and couplers through datasheets, simulation, and measurement.• Expert in electromagnetic simulations: transmission lines, waveguides, resonators, RF passive and active circuits.• Proficient in antenna design and simulation for cellular and WLAN applications: narrow and wideband patch antennas, customized PIFA antennas, printed monopole antennas, etc.• Highly experienced in OTA testing: TRP and TIS validation, antenna gain, efficiency, and radiation pattern measurement.• Good understanding of EMC/EMI testing methods and regulations for compliance testing and safety.• Hands-on experience in RF and antenna-related hardware troubleshooting: de-sense, EMC/EMI failure, noise/RF interface mitigation.• Proficient in PCB design in Altium environment and experienced in schematic and PCB layout review.• Expert in electromagnetic simulation tools: HFSS, CST, COMSOL, ADS, and AWR.• Hands-on experience with testing equipment: VNA, Impedance Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, and Oscilloscope.• Programming languages: Python, MATLAB.Measurement Skills:*S parameter measurement *Noise Figure measurement of RF device and systems *Phase Noise measurement * OP3, IP3 and dynamic range measurement of RF systems *Cellular and non cellular testing (TX power, sensitivity, BLER, ACLR, EVM, IQ constellation etc.)* Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax protocols* GNSS testing (C/N, sensitivity, TTFF and jamming detection test)*Antenna Gain, Efficiency, and Radiation Pattern measurement *TRP and TIS measurement in OTA chamber
