Leading the implementation of the National Vaccination Strategy and Deputy to the Head of the Vaccination Team.

Managed two independent evaluations at the Technical Evaluation Reference Group (TERG): « Community Engagement and Community-led Responses » and « Accelerating the Equitable Deployment and Access to Innovations ».

At the Technical Evaluation Reference Group (TERG) Secretariat, managed Prospective Country Evaluations (PCEs) in DRC, Guatemala, Uganda and the finalization and publication of yearly syntheses of all PCEs. The PCE aimed at understanding the pathways between investment and impact at country-level, in order to facilitate prospective improvement of program implementation and quality for Global Fund supported programs in eight countries.

Guided the Prospective Country Evaluations (PCEs) for three countries: DRC, Guatemala and Uganda. Also managed a thematic review on the Global Fund Sustainability, Transition and Co-financing (STC) Policy and a mid-term review of the Global Fund Market Shaping Strategy.

Contributed to the mission of the Infection Control and Vaccination Programme Team.As project manager, led the design, development, consolidation, broad consultations and publication of the National Vaccination Strategy [adopted by the Federal Council on 11 January 2017]. Investigated the Geneva health system through “community immersions” as experienced by medical students over the past seven academic years. Through a review of 74 reports, mapped actors/stakeholders. Selected and commented students recommendations for proximity health. Where needs were not covered, checked the availability of the main actors to pursue proximity health actions.

Contributed to the elaboration and monitoring of: programme strategies; project strategic plans; operational programming; and annual budgets for 14 projects in Nepal, Vietnam, Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka. Institutional fundraising. Field visits (projects, planning workshop, budget, regional meeting). Project themes: Mother and Child Health, Nutrition, Street Children, Orthopaedic Hospital.

Project Coordination : strategical orientations, action plan, monitoring, evaluation, epidemiological surveillance, weekly briefings to executives, monthly and annual reports, collaboration with partner organisations and overall communication. Team Supervision : plan new staff, write job descriptions, recruit, brief, provide training, organise and supervise staff of 11 (half psychosocial, half medical), conduct meetings.

Conducted research for the Division on Intensified Cooperation with Countries in Greateast Needs (ICO) and the WHO Task Force on Health Economics.
