I am holding three Master's degrees: Development Studies (Macroeconomics and Health); International Project Management (combined health and psychosocial projects); and Health Economics (equity-efficiency trade-off). Previously, I was Scientific Officer and Deputy Team Lead, Infection Control and Vaccination Program Unit, at the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health, developing national strategies to fight communicable diseases (TB, Seasonal Influenza, Vaccination). Before this, I worked as a Health Economist at the Global Forum for Health Research, where my portfolios focused on equity, poverty and health, health care financing, research on mental health in low- and middle-income countries, social determinants of health, and the impact of climate change on health. At that time, I was also a Member of the WHO Scientific Group on Equity Analysis and Research.Additional positions have been: embedded Consultant for the Task Force on Health Economics at the World Health Organisation (WHO); Coordinator of a Street Children Project for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in Manila, Philippines; Desk Officer for Asia at Terre des Hommes Foundation, Lausanne, Switzerland; and Research Officer at the Department of Public Health of Geneva.
