After obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Styling at the Marangoni Fashion Institute in Milan I moved to New York City as I wanted to challenge myself in an international environment (2012). New York is where I gained my early work experiences: interning at Red Light PR in the press office and in the showroom; working in the visual merchandising team for Belstaff as an assistant to the Global VM Director, organizing ad campaigns and shootings, window arrangements and the web page; and collaborating with the styling and VM department at Les Copains (2013).In 2014 I further developed my creative passion by enrolling in design courses at the Central Saint Martins Fashion Institute and then at the London School of Fashion. Shortly after, in 2015, I returned to Milan, where I began to work for Salvatore Ferragamo in the Communication Department, where I supported activities related to the press office, PR as well the organization of fashion shows and events. The academic and professional background that I acquired throughout the years strongly supports my natural inclination and love for fashion. In 2018 I founded my very own, 100% Made in Italy, beachwear brand: BePopsy. BePopsy was born from a personal need: when I used to try on beachwear I often felt uncomfortable and squeezed in, whereas laser-cut lingerie made me feel confident. So I decided to bring this craftsmanship on the beach. The brand wants every women to feel free and glamorous, as I believe in creating pieces that showcase beauty by perfectly adapting to the body’s shape and curves, carefully selecting the highest quality, eco-friendly sculpt lycra fabric. The raw-cut, stiches-free swimwear products highlight look and personality, offering a great wearability by literally hugging the body. They dry twice as fast, ensure high UV protection (50), and certify our commitment to the eco-sustainability and the environment.
