Working in an international team of digital education experts to design a national digital competence framework.

Working together with more than 50 elearning experts to design, develop and monitor the online learning paths for 55k teachers trained within the ”Revelant Curriculum, Open Education” project coordinated by the MoE Romania.

- Contribute to development and implementation of HR policies, programs and services related to learning and staff development.- Design, implement and evaluate online and blended training programmes for staff development. Establish relevant curricula for staff based on learning needs analysis.

- Measure and improve learning, learning outcomes and usability of learning, and advise, support and assist Red Cross/ Red Crescent national societies to evaluate learning.- Develop and manage a learning content management system (LCMS) aiming at maximizing the 'supply' and the quality of online courses. Advise, support and assist Red Cross/ Red Crescent national societies to set up, roll out and manage learning management systems.- Supervise and support the pedagogical aspects of the development of new online courses for 150.000 volunteers and staff enrolled on the Learning platform – preparing to accommodate 1,7 million learners by 2020.- Develop and manage a competence management system for volunteers, to support online courses and curricula design, development and evaluation.- Develop and manage a quality management system aiming at making online courses more efficient, effective and appealing, i.e. valuable for volunteers and staff. - Support, advise and coach Red Cross and Red Crescent learning professionals and practitioners. Develop, support and coordinate a network aiming at raising professional standards, interoperability and efficiency across the learning ecosystem.

Coordination of the eTwinning action in Romania - a programme of the European Commission, aiming to connect schools and teachers across Europe.

- Designing, coordinating and participating in international projects (European Social Fund, Life-long Learning) – more than 10 projects within this period. - Implement, monitor and evaluate several national pilot projects aiming to highlight the use and the added-value of ICT in education (E-motion project, in high-schools; Take Part Too project, in secondary schools, Classmate PC project, in primary schools etc.). - Coordinating the eTwinning action in Romania (a programme of European Schoolnet, financed by the European Commission, aiming to connect schools and teachers across Europe).- Coordinating Elearning.Romania programme (www.elearning.ro) and editing the Elearning.ro online monthly publication, with over 6.000 subscribers.- Developing and coordinating online teacher training programmes on iTeach.ro platform, for more than 14.000 teachers. Editor of the monthly online journal “iTeach: pedagogical experiences” (www.iteach.ro/experientedidactice). - Overviewing and managing the teacher training projects financed through European Structural Funds in which TEHNE- Centre for Innovation in Education is a partner - 6 national projects (in total value of 3M euro for TEHNE), aiming to train more than 25.000 teachers to use pedagogy and ICT tools to improve the education situations in their classrooms.

- Management of regional Intel education programmes; this included co-operation with universities, IT companies, NGOs, and government offices to design and implement joint educational programmes.- Organise and deliver training and information for students, teachers and education policy makers on the added-value of ICT tools for education; including the running of workshops, conferences, summer schools.- Manage an impact evaluation of the integration of the Classmate PC in primary schools for the 2007-2008 pilot.- Promote and facilitate participation to the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) from South East Europe (Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Serbia).- Implementation and evaluation of the Intel Teach programmes in Romania and Bulgaria – in-service teacher training, face-to-face, for more than 20.000 teachers.- Co-ordination of online training programmes for teachers in Romania (Intel Teach - Elements), reaching more than 10.000 teachers.

- Participating in the national researches carried out by the IES on educational communication through new technologies, the use of computers in Romanian education system, impact of ICTs at institutional level, formative impact of the new ICTs etc.- Pedagogical adviser for the preparation and implementation of the eTwinning Action in Romania. - Evaluation of Socrates and Leonardo da Vinci programmes in Romania (2000-2006); elaboration of the evaluation report.

- Coordinating the programme on eLearning and Computer-Assisted Instruction. - Consultancy and pedagogical advisory for various institutions to set up and deploy adult education programmes implementation in Romania. - Designing and developing new international action-research projects in education (www.tehne.ro/projects). - Designing and kicking-off the Elearning.Romania programme.- Cooperation with various stakeholders and potential contributors to develop elearning and education programmes. - Designing and coordinating national evaluation research projects (e.g. national evaluation of IT-Based Education System programme, developed by the Ministry of Education Romania).

- Designing the overall pedagogical framework for the development of educational software.- Validation of the new educational software storyboards.- Training the new instructional designers appointed by the company to develop educational software.- Monitoring and evaluation of the impact of introducing ICT in schools.

Worked as a trainer and education consultant for the Foundation, within specific projects as it follows:• “Microsoft Academy for Special Needs Education Teachers” project, funded by Microsoft Romania: in charge of designing and delivering the face-to-face courses for teachers in order to strengthen their ICT skills to be able to implement significant and innovative education situations with their pupils.• “UniSMART e-learning system” – post-graduate online courses for academic staff and PhD students affiliated to the Black Sea University Network: elaborating the specific Open Distance Learning programme methodology.

- Participating in national researches in curriculum development area.- Participation to the new national curriculum development, especially regarding the introduction of digital competences for pupils.
