Building great new products takes more than great ideas, it also takes communication, understanding, and setting clear measurable goals. For 7+ years I have been developing and implementing client-specific requirements in software and business practices. Each project involves analyzing the client’s existing situation, looking at the needs of the client going forward, and innovating to develop an optimal solution for the client’s requirements.I have experience solving interesting problems on large projects where new needs and functionality are being developed; and small projects, where changes and enhancements to the existing system are being implemented. In my career I have had many experiences:- From large database application upgrades, with more than 3 million records to convert.- To setting up automated billing systems that send and track correspondence with customers.- To designing embedded systems for one off jobs or research and educational purposes.I enjoy receiving and solving problems daily and thinking outside the box when a normal solution will not work for a client’s circumstances. My degrees in Chemistry and Computer Science have equipped me with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new ideas and technologies as I need them. My experience in the industry has trained me to use those skills effectively.
