As a participant in the Commerce Scholars Program, I am currently working as a Research Assistant under Professor David Hardisty.

At Vancouver Debate Academy, I work with four groups of students of various ages and debate experience levels to develop their skills. I am responsible for creating lesson plans, filling out class summaries to communicate student progress with parents, and writing report cards. My favourite part of this role is the opportunity to give highly-tailored feedback to my students and see their confidence grow over time.

In this role, I was responsible for attending and tracking participation in lectures, marking assignments, and leading weekly community-building tutorials.
