I was the Primary author of field service documentation, which includes; Service Manuals, Service Bulletins, Site Preparation Guides, Final Test (for production), System Packaging, and WEEE passports. I supported 7 Fluorescence Microscopy instruments used for various forms of biotech research (DeltaVision, DeltaVision|OMX V3 and V4, DeltaVision|OMX SR, Cytell Imager, IN Cell Analyzer 2000, IN Cell Analyzer 2200, and IN Cell Analyzer 6000).I led a pilot project to single-source Production/Manufacturing and Service information from the same set of source files. Outputs include HTML5, PDF, and Word.I also maintained the Global MadCap Flare project that contains the styles, snippets, page layouts, etc... that are shared between a multitude of products. I inherited this project in its “infancy” and worked with a small international team to refine it.

Primary author of field service documentation. I coordinated and published documentation for 7 instruments (DeltaVision, DeltaVision|OMX V3 and V4, Cytell Imager, IN Cell Analyzer 2000, IN Cell Analyzer 2200, and IN Cell Analyzer 6000).

I wrote and edited Service Manuals for products produced by Applied Precsion, Inc. The products included ProbeWoRx 300 probecard tester, InCell Analyzer 2000, and DetlaVision.

During this time I created the first draft of a major product assembly process. I also performed a major update to the ProbeWoRx Hardware Manual and a massive overhaul to the ProbeWoRx Advanced Maintenance Manual, as well as many smaller, but no less important projects.

Assembly, modification, failure analysis of complex prober test equipment.During this time I volunteered to re-write the assembly procedures for my work station. This took me approximately 3-4 months to accomplish. The result of this re-write was a reduction in time of approximately 25% to the processes at my work station. I also earned a Resolution Award, as well as a desire to pursue technical writing as a career.

All facets of repair and diagnosis of Ford vehicles, including, but not limited to, engines, drivetrains, complex electronic systems. Also responsible for in-house training of technicians and scheduling of factory training.
