I developed an Engine Health Monitoring system for Naval Marine gas turbines using vibration analysis. This was key to implementing an after sale care package.

Derby

I coordinated the build, strip and post-test measurement of a £3.5M Civil Aerospace gas turbine (the Trent 1000 flying-test-bed for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner).

Switzerland

I was responsible for testing and reporting on high performance polymers for DuPont’s European Technical Centre. I learnt to use moulding machines, mechanical tests and improved my French.
