Oliver co-founded Bindloss Dawes architects with George Dawes in 2018, Bindloss Dawes is an architecture studio based in Bruton, Somerset. Oliver is a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and the Architectural Registration Board (ARB).Bindloss Dawes have a wealth of experience delivering complex projects for the arts and community organisations, creating new houses in England and abroad, as well as delivering high-end retail projects for internationally renowned stores and fashion brands.At the centre of Bindloss Dawes architect’s approach is the desire to produce beautifully crafted and thoughtful architecture. We collaborate with designers and makers that we know and trust, and work closely with our clients to deliver buildings and spaces that sensitively serve their needs, whilst striving for permanence and quality.(2005 – 2018) Oliver worked for Jamie Fobert Architects for twelve years designing and delivering several award-winning buildings. Oliver was both project architect & associate for the major extension to Kettle’s Yard, a contemporary art gallery owned by Cambridge University (RIBA and Civic Trust award, 2019) which was funded by the Arts Council England (ACS), Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF), Clore Duffield as well as being supported by the Department of Culture Media & Sport. Other notable projects including being the project architect for Levring House (RIBA Award and nominated for RIBA House of the Year, 2015), also retail project for Givenchy and Selfridges.(2014 - 2016) Prior to founding Bindloss Dawes architects. Oliver and taught a post-graduate Architecture studio at the Royal College of Art.Education, in 2009 Oliver qualified as an architect (RIBA Part 3) whilst working at Jamie Fobert Architects. Between 2003 – 2005 Oliver studied for a diploma in architecture (RIBA Part 2) at the University of Westminster. Between 1998 – 2001 Oliver studied for a BA(hons) degree in architecture at Oxford Brookes University (RIBA Part 1).(2001 – 2003) Oliver worked for Stanton Williams architects between RIBA Part 1 & 2 studies working on a wide range of projects from Transport Interchanges in Geneva down to retail work for Selfridges London. Oliver also worked on the feasibility study for the new home in King Cross for Central St Martins now the University of the Arts London.(1998 – 2001) Oliver worked for John Simpson and partners during holiday’s whilst studying for his RIBA Part 1, project included the Buckingham Palace Art Galleries where Oliver worked on the tender and construction packages.
