As a Support worker it is my job to deliver a personalised care package to clients based in an independent living facility. The care we provide to each person could range from a simple medication prompt or administering, or a full care package for individuals who need that little bit more help. This could include showering, making meals, personal care, etc. We are also trained to provide emergency care should an emergency situation arise. Aside from our Support worker tasks we also had to aid the Team Leaders in any tasks they had for us, this mainly included filing of paperwork, sorting out SUS forms, PEEPS forms, housing related support forms and making sure everything was correct. We also had to deal with family members should any issues or concerns arise, whether over the phone or in person we had to address these issues and take appropriate action.

My predominant role at Halifax Engineering was to deliver/pickup bearings and other assorted machinery across the country to and from customers and suppliers. When not out driving i would be in the office, assisting with answering calls and taking orders or requests as they came in, or sorting stock out in the warehouse if it required it.

My job at High Park was mainly dealing with customers, bringing food and drinks over to their table, dealing with requests or complaints.
