Working on different shows quickly building effective working relationships. Responsibilities include:- Responding to communications from listeners- Researching future interviewees for presenters- Prepare and deliver travel bulletins and news- Editing audio for on-air broadcast (e.g. pre-recorded interviews and feature trails)- Greeting and briefing guests, ensuring they are happy with the process and environment

Write regular pieces creating original opinions reviewing albums, live shows or making comments on the place of music in modern society

Create, produce and present my own weekly radio show to hundreds of listeners, the most popular on the station. This involves curating a unique track list of relaxing music, from new releases and artists to older classics across genres. I also undertake extensive research to select songs and provide background information and context to each track.The show has featured in MixCloud’s Top 10 Student Radio Shows multiple times.

Present and produce the Oxide Studio Sessions Show, where artists performing in Oxford are invited to be interviewed and record acoustic versions of their tracks. I have been individually responsible for organising sessions with new and upcoming artists such as Matt Maltese, Juniper Nights and Tugboat Captain – creating a good rapport with artists and their managers alike. Furthermore I have completed extensive research on each artist to produce engaging and meaningful discussions about their life and music, creating the highest quality content for broadcast. I then personally edit and master all recorded material to create the best content ready for broadcast and presentation online.

On the executive committee responsible for the rebrand and relaunch of the previously dormant Oxide Radio, Oxford University’s Student Radio Station. I work closely in a team of five to commission new shows, maintain the studio and market the station. This has involved training all new presenters - providing studio tutorials and working through optimising show content and marketing. Further to this I have created and continue to manage the new website. I also control all the Oxide social media accounts.

Working on a project to determine how observations can be used to statistically constrain estimates of projected global warming and CO2 concentration.

Responsible for an annual budget of over £100,000. This includes producing termly financial reports for submission to the Finance Bursar and Student Union.

Part of a small team of four who were in charge of organising and coordinating all of the social events in college. This included:- Organising two festivals (Queerfest and Wadstock) which were each attended by almost 1000 people and sold out on the first day of ticket sales.- Coordinating fortnightly college parties (bops) - including renting local clubs for joint college events.- Attending fortnightly committee meetings and regularly liaising with various college staff members.

Connected to hundreds of callers to increase the college's contact with alumni and gain financial support for various access schemes. Over a 2 week campaign our small student team managed to raise over £265,000 pounds in donations over the telephone.

I achieved more than 150% of my target for attendees to the joint Oxford and Cambridge University ski trip from members of my college.
