Starting as a software developer for the C⋅A⋅T V4 stage control system at Waagner-Biro Luxembourg Stage Systems SA, I first got in touch with the world behind the red curtain in early 2003. And this world caught me for more than a decade now.With the technical experience of more than three years of development for one of the world first IEC 61508 (SIL 3) compliant and fully computerized stage control systems, I started managing and realizing installation projects for stage automation systems in summer 2006. Since then, I was involved in or leading many interesting and challenging automation projects in performing arts venues like the Vienna State Opera (Austria), The Grand Leeds (UK), Seoul Arts Center (South Korea), Deutsche Opera Berlin (Germany), Ronacher Theatre Vienna (Austria) as well as the Musiktheater Linz (Austria), the latest new opera house building in Europe.As a project engineer at Waagner-Biro Luxembourg, sales support and after sales service have always been part of my job. I really appreciated this opportunity to meet many interesting operators, maintenance technicians and stage managers, but also consultants, directors and yet visionaries in creating performing arts.In early 2013, I finally became a sales manager for our C⋅A⋅T stage control system. I love my job, because now I can take benefit from all the different experiences in the last years when developing stage automation solutions providing a superior customer experience.Having graduated as MBA in January 2013, I am also contributing to the development of our growing company each day now. Leading our marketing and sales team in Luxembourg since summer 2013, every new day rises new challenges to welcome.
