A Full-Stack Developer and Quantexa Data Engineer with 3 years of experience in web and software development, and 2 years of training experience in the Software and Data Engineering sphere.Proud to be employed by Xander Talent, where I have been responsible for curating and delivering a number of full-stack technical pathways for Xander Talent's in-house training academy. These technical pathways have encompassed languages and frameworks including Python, JavaScript and ReactJS, and AI/Data Visualisation integration tools such as Langchain, OpenAI API, Pandas, MatPlotLib and Streamlit.My current responsibilities involve working as an Academy Team Lead for Quantexa's Education Department, in which I support and assess Data Engineers from across the world, providing them the necessary Scala/Spark skills and knowledge of the Quantexa platform in order to be effective Quantexa Data Engineers on a live project. Further to these experiences, I have curated and delivered in-person workshops on campuses in India and London, which involve in-depth technical discussion and code-alongs that encompass the entire Quantexa pipeline.In 2022, I received a Distinction grade with a Diploma in Full-Stack Software Development from the Code Institute; a comprehensive course which covers web-development languages including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Python, frameworks including Django and Flask, NoSQL and SQL databases, and competencies such as agile development and project management. Prior to my journey into Software Development, I was a full-time touring musician, song writer and Piano teacher. Since starting to learn the Piano at six years old, I have had many opportunities to perform both domestically and worldwide with acts including Eddie Chacon, John Carroll Kirby, Nubiyan Twist, Onipa & Yellow Days. I have also been fortunate to work as a Piano teacher, passing my knowledge of Classical and Jazz Piano onto students of all ages.My passion for code, coupled with my extensive experience in music performance and pedagogy, has provided me with the perfect balance of creativity, communication skills and a commitment to life-long learning, which has provided proven positive results in my current roles as a Software/Data Engineer trainer.
