• Managed sourcing of chemicals and coatings from August to October of 2019, during which I negotiated a piece price reduction of 3% for all parts from our largest vendor, began a bulk storage project for liquid chemicals which would reduce piece price on motor lubricant by up to 40%, and sourced two new vendors for the Tesla Semi truck.• Took charge of vehicle glass sourcing for Model S and X (MS and MX) in October 2019 to Jan 2022. Responsible for the sourcing/resourcing of the newest vehicle refresh, where all external glass was modified in some way.• Utilized data analytics skillset to manage a service glass packaging project, saving Tesla a significant amount annually (over 7 figures).• Oversaw project to localize glass supplier closer to Fremont, saving Tesla a significant amount annually, as well as in one time packaging costs.• Worked closely with Tesla and supplier engineering teams to stay aware of the latest technology available for glass.• Maintained good relations with every supplier by fielding at least quarterly business trips/calls, and staying synced weekly on production goals and engineering changes.

• Responsible for ensuring inbound packaging is compliant to the approved specification.• Worked with Packaging Engineering team to get part packaging submittal to 99.9%, up from 60%, an increase of around 1500 different parts.• Developed methodology and tools to track and improve packaging compliance for production relevant parts. Increasing compliance from 0% to 95% in 6 months, an increase of 4500 parts.
