Bots is a game-changing new web application, which allows banks to maintain live pricing curves for any of the 10,000+ different issuers in the market, to swap and export pricings and to run advanced analytics on new issue pricing datasets.

Spent the lion’s share of my Citi career on the Fixed Income Syndicate desk, focussed primarily on USD, EUR and GBP-denominated bond issuance from SSA clients globally. Responsibilities included:- Leading Citi’s SSA bond origination advisory franchise on execution relating to strategic USD, EUR, GBP-denominated benchmark issuance - Arranging, documenting and executing opportunistic non-benchmark issuance, re-openings, MTNs, PPs, etc. - Structuring and executing exchange/buyback transactions/open market operations- Valuing and arranging liability-side IRS and XCCY swap (derivative) packages- Managing risk relating to, and selling down, residual positions on the Syndicate book- Coordinating Citi’s primary franchise participation in government-related auction processes- In-house contact relating to cross-bank-chain-entity security transfer rules (relating to the Federal Reserve Act)- Overseeing the desk’s performance monitoring mechanisms and budget shortfall controls- Sitting on Citi’s bond origination technology initiative committee and leading automation projects relating to the bond origination workflow- Drafting and filing compliance-related documentation (MAR, MIFID, FRA, Dodd-Frank, Consent Orders, etc.)- Overseeing the new issue settlement process, with extensive experience redressing failed Fedwire/DTC settlement tickets- Coordinating internal trading and corporate treasury investment activity relating to SSA primary issues- Arranging and participating in global investor marketing initiatives (roadshows, GICs, NR, IPs, etc.)- Process mapping with external consultants, relating to regulatory requirement pre-emption exercises around bond origination (policies and controls)- Leading and managing Citi syndicate-buyside relationships relating to execution- Devised and maintained framework to facilitate the external dialogue with Citi’s market-making franchise
