As a Systems and Platforms Engineer at DroneShield Australia, I am present in multiple areas of the business. I am primarily DevOps oriented, being responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our development pipelines, hosted both onprem and in the cloud. Beyond traditional DevOps responsibilities, I'm actively involved in advancing our MLOps pipelines, working towards seamless integration and continuous improvement. This entails leveraging innovative approaches to enhance machine learning workflows and ensure optimal performance. Additionally, I lead the development of our customer portal, steering the creation of a user-friendly interface and optimizing functionality to ensure an outstanding experience for our clients. As such, in my role, I am central not only to technical aspects but also in fostering customer-centric development. Through close collaboration with Business Development teams, I align technical initiatives with strategic business goals, ensuring our solutions make a substantial contribution to overall growth.I graduated from the University of Sydney with First Class Honours in Mechatronic Engineering and Commerce (majoring in Accounting and Econometrics).I am interested in mechatronic and robotic systems, research into aerospace technologies and management in both the financial and engineering sectors. The design, creation and programming of fully automated robotics systems is a particular curiosity of mine.
