I am 19 years old, and decided to take some time out after gaining 2 A Levels to try and look for opportunities in the scouting world, whilst working full time. I have a passion for sport and have taken an interest in the football industry and have proactively taken steps to contact football clubs to offer my services on a voluntary basis to gain a deeper insight and experience into what it’s like to work in and around an elite football club. I was lucky to have the chance to work with Preston North End Football Club for 3 months gaining multiple skills: development of written and oral communication skills, time management, observational and technical skills in recruitment of players. During my time there I completed my FA Level 1 Introduction to Talent and Identification in Football and I am keen to start and complete the Level 2.. I am a keen football fan and support my hometown team, AFC Bournemouth. I am always keen to learn and develop new skills which is why, at the age of 14, I took it upon myself to qualify as a junior referee, a role that has helped me develop a work ethic, build confidence and made me more organised.
