Following the successful completion of a number of projects whilst at G&T I was approached by Astra Zeneca to move to their Project Control Engineering department. This role was broadly similar to the previous employment at G&T and in this time I undertook and completed the RICS Adjudication Diploma.

Following the successful completion of my Chartership, I moved to this Consultancy firm and undertook a secondment to work on dedicated project assignments for AstraZeneca. During this time, I carried out various roles including Cost Estimation and Cost Management whilst acting as a Project Control Lead on projects across the globe.

This was my first postgraduate position in which I was employed as a Quantity Surveyor. I was an integral team member of a small project team responsible for implementing Capital Funded projects throughout Manchester. This worked to reduce the risk,management requirements and cost of a small authority procuring reputable building contractors or professional services.During my time here I also managed the commercial aspect of the PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) programme across all LA housing, ensuring the budget was spent in accordance with strict parameters whilst providing the LA with value for money.
