Two Key Roles:- Mechanical design manager and client manager for all RED projects for a major UK retailer- Responsible for delivering sustainable design input across multiple sectors and managing production of energy, carbon and sustainability reports

• Project management of energy assessment, CSH & BREEAM projects• Responsible for managing staff and budgets whilst working to deadlines• Winning work, preparing quotations and tenders• Developing and delivering presentations to clients• Compliance reports for building regulations, planning conditions, BREEAM and legal cases• SAP, SBEM & EPC calculations using NHER Plan Assessor, iSBEM and DesignBuilder• Dynamic Simulation Modelling (DSM) for assessing summertime overheating• Undertaking CSH & BREEAM assessments• Low and zero carbon feasibility studies• Energy surveys of new and existing buildings • Air permeability & acoustic testing of buildings• In-situ temperature and humidity data logging and analysis

• Experience on a range of projects including prisons, schools, museums and residential• Lead project engineer, managing work load between mechanical and electrical engineers• SAP, SBEM and U-value calculations using Hevacomp• Dynamic Simulation Modelling (DSM) for assessing summertime overheating• Compliance reports for Part L and BREEAM• Renewable energy feasibility reports• Energy surveys and reports of existing buildings

• Providing consultancy to housing associations on energy and sustainability • Optimisation of building fabric, HVAC and renewable energy systems• SAP & U-value calculations• Renewable energy feasibility reports• International market research reports for intelligent building controls
