I am now responsible for the refurbishment of group premises across the Countrywide PLC portfolio, focusing on London and the South East

INEX Property Solutions is the maintenance division of the Badger Holdings Group of companies, which amongst others, includes Townends Estate Agents. INEX is responsible for the maintenance and refurbishment of the group portfolio of premises including 20+ Townends branches. In addition to that my team look after the Townends managed portfolio of some 2000 residential properties via it’s Lettings division. As Director, I am responsible for managing a multi skilled team including Plumbing & Gas Engineers, electricians, decorators and office based support staff. My role involves overseeing the profit & loss, budgeting and forecasting, branch refurbishments, cost control, managing external contractors, outlining service level agreements, method statements and risk assessments, generating external business, driving additional revenues, ensuring memberships of the relevant trade organisations and remaining abreast of the relevant legislations.

Kavanagh Development was my own building/property development company specialising in residential extensions and build projects. My role involved reading of technical drawings, working with architects and structural engineers, quoting, budgeting and project management of each job we took on. I personally dealt with clients and managed their expectations throughout their project, coordinating subcontractors across all the trades, managing trade accounts with material suppliers and organised plant hire. As Managing Director, I endeavoured to take the business forward by expanding into commercial work and larger scale projects, which meant winning new clients and competing in tender processes. I also arranged for Kavanagh Development to become an approved contractor for Townends Estate Agents, where we began to carry out maintenance work for their managed rental portfolio. This led to Badger Holdings approaching me regarding the role of Director of INEX Property Solutions.

As an Account Director my role was to develop client relationships and new business, taking briefs from inception to completion delivering on time and to budget. I was responsible for winning new business and also servicing an existing client base that included The Saatchi Gallery, the Royal Academy, T Mobile and Wembley Stadium. My interest in the property sector drove me to target, secure and develop accounts such as Land Securities.Service Graphics provides large format print graphics across a range of medias including exhibition stands, building hoardings wraps and vehicle graphics. The role of Account Director involved being the link between clients and their design agencies and our own studio, production and installation staff. The role involved high pressure prioritising, coordination and exemplary people skills.
