My remit also includes providing guidance and recommendations for school expansions around the world to maintain high quality, efficient and reliable IT infrastructures globally. In addition, I am fully involved in the recruitment, development, performance management and appraisals of a 9 member IT team, and delivering training to address any skills gaps.Most notably, I led the end-to-end migration from locally hosted services to Office 365, Exchange, OneDrive and SharePoint to modernise and streamline ICT provision. I was also instrumental in preparing the school for remote teaching during the Covid-19 pandemic, developing Microsoft Intune to manage school devices and created a VPN system to support remote working for internal systems, using Azure AD Multi-Factor Authentication for security. Furthermore, I spearheaded delivery of business-critical technology initiatives to improve stability, and drove the upgrade of the entire Cisco network infrastructure Core, Distribution and Access level, and planned the deployment of over 250 wireless access points. -
