Developed a computational theory of conceptual blending within the EU project COINVENT.http://www.coinvent-project.eu/Participated as co-project leader in the creation of the OMG standardised "Distributed Ontology, Model, and Specification Language" DOL.https://www.omg.org/dol/(Project leader: Till Mossakowski; full team at https://ontologforum.org/index.php/OntoIOp) Co-designed the logic SROIQ underlying the Web Ontology Language OWL 2 DL (with Ian Horrocks and Uli Sattler).
