Founder and captain at Pixel Pioneers, a series of affordable conferences and workshops bringing world-class advice from the brightest minds in front-end development and UX/UI design to the UK, specifically Bristol.

Since going freelance I've been creating content for a variety of clients such as Adobe, Shopify, SitePoint, Wix, Black & White Zebra, Heart Internet, Media Temple and Host Europe. This includes writing blog posts and sourcing, commissioning and editing articles written by subject matter experts (either for blog posts or ebooks). I also curate various design and development sessions at the annual Bath Digital Festival and have edited a series of books for the British Computer Society.

I co-founded Generate, the conference for web designers and front-end developers, organised by net magazine and Creative Bloq, and have curated every edition in London, New York, San Francisco and Sydney (except London 2018).

As the editor of net magazine, the number one title for web designers and developers, available in print and digitally, I was responsible for the editorial/content strategy, commissioning writers, especially for features and practical tutorials, as well as the publication of various specials from The Responsive Web Design Handbook to The Ultimate Guide to WordPress. I also led the 2014 redesign of the magazine in print and digital, which included a fully interactive edition.
