I am a confident and hardworking person with a great passion for science and technology. I always strive to tackle challenges that arise in my daily life and pride myself on my problem solving abilities. I enjoy learning new and exciting skills especially when related to STEM.In my current role as test team leader I face daily challenges which require adaptive and creative problem solving to overcome. I am thorough, detailed and analytic in my approach to tasks and take satisfaction in both my abilities and results. I am responsible for planning, oversight and management within my department which provides me with vital experience in workplace management and strategies. I have experience in travelling internationally to complete work on-site for customers, whether this is servicing or installing new systems. I am often customer facing and endeavour to build strong, long lasting customer relations.I have experience in education which taught me many vital skills both professionally and personally. I took great joy in passing on my own knowledge to others and instilling an understanding and passion for science, analytical thinking and self confidence in my students while developing and improving on my own knowledge. In my personal life I enjoy different hobbies, particularly classic cars and motorsport. My own pride and joy is a 1970 VW beetle which I am currently restoring. I am a crew member for Outlaw Flat Four which is a drag racing team that specialises in air-cooled, VW flat four powered vehicles.
