Whilst deciding what career I wanted to move into after my 5 years at Moore SW, I worked at Sainsbury's as an Online Delivery's driver. It was an enjoyable and freeing role that gave me the time to decide that I didn't want to go back into accounting and instead look for a different career path.One thing very enjoyable about this role was meeting hundreds of different customers. Whilst problems with customer orders weren't rare, I found all it took was a proactive approach to solving those issues, an apology on behalf of the company and a positive attitude to solve most of the problems. I loved seeing how happy most customers were upon receiving their shopping.

Auditing was a client facing job where I used my problem-solving skills daily. The job involved usage of client financial systems and excel, as well as the client’s various different documents and systems to determine the accuracy, existence and completeness of the clients’ financial accounts. I gained skills working with different clients in vastly different fields, developing communication and client management skills through the job, as well as analytical skills in excel. As an audit senior my responsibilities in my last years in the company included:• Leading audits on site• Managing and delegating work to the less experienced members of the team• Assisting and training junior team members• Track audit progress and ensure all work was completed within the given timeframe• Liaison between audit managers/partners and the clients• Answer questions from the client and communicate progress with them• Keep management informed of any issues arising from the audits.

Singer in the group, Treasurer 2017 - 2019. Managed a budget of £30k annually. National A Cappella Champions 2017, 2018 & 2019; Represented the UK internationally on Broadway in 2017 & 2019. Released debut album 'Telos' 2019. Organised 3 sell out Edinburgh Fringe shows.
