Conelex is a dynamic company in the ITSE and Public Utility Infrastructure field, with a holistic view on how a modern project should be approached. Conelex’s primary mission is to assist contractors and designers to develop best-for-project outcomes through strategic relationships with key stakeholders, proactive design development and management, and comprehensive construction planning and management. Oliver's key project involvements include:- Coomera Connector (Central) Helensvale Road to Smith Street – ITSE Manager;- Gold Coast Light Rail Stage 3 – ITSE and Intersections Manager;- Gold Coast Light Rail Stage 3 Early Works – Design Interface Manager (Non-Contestable Utilities);- Bruce Highway Upgrade (Edmonton to Gordonvale) – PUP Manager;- Bruce Highway Upgrade (Caloundra Road to Sunshine Motorway) – PUP Manager;- Pacific Motorway (Mudgeeraba to Varsity Lakes, Varsity Lakes to Burleigh, Burleigh to Palm Beach, and Palm Beach to Tugun) – Temporary signals and intersection staging;- Pacific Motorway Interchange Upgrades (Exit 41, Exit 49, and Exit 54) – Temporary signals and intersection staging;- Sydney Light Rail – Temporary intersection staging (construction work through signalised intersections);- Enforcement Camera System program (QLD) (Ongoing) – Camera system design, approvals, and project management as part Queensland Police Service camera roll-out;- Port Drive Upgrade – ITSE and PUP Tender scope and design development (D&C), Initial design development/handover post award.- Various developer works for signalised intersection design resultant of DA Requirements.Oliver has also provided further assistance and support to a range of other projects during tender and construction phases, and continues working with contractors, designers, and authorities to achieve their ideal project and business outcomes.

While at ATS, an Electrical and Communications Utility company, Oliver worked on a broad range of infrastructure projects in the role of Project Manager, often being integrated into the wider delivery team by the Principal Contractors and interfacing directly with the clients. As a PM, Oliver lead multiple large tender teams with his customary strong focus on scope development and refinement.

Traffic Signal, ITS and Road Lighting design, construction staging/planning, traffic management, design and drafting, approvals and project management

Oliver was responsible for the construction and maintenance of the Traffic Signals and ITS (Site Wide) for the Gold Coast Light Rail (GCLR) Stage 1 project, including interfacing with the design partners and asset owners to resolve utility and construction conflicts. Tasks included:- Temporary Traffic Signal and ITS designs;- Traffic staging of signalised intersections with track, utility, and civil works;- Assisting in the development of the Light Rail Integration system between the rail and traffic signals;- Designing the “Top Hat” integration system, including design drawings and authority workshops and approvals; and- Facilitating FAT, SAT, and CAT processes with multiple key stakeholders/authorities for the integration system and LRV Capable Personalities, including on-track/road testing with the LRV.

During this time, Oliver focused on traffic infrastructure and civil design. Responsibilities included:- Traffic Signal Design;- Intersection design (geometry, staging, optioneering, presentations for DA’s);- Traffic modelling for signalised intersections and networks;- Traffic Impact Assessments; and- Business Development.
