Consulted as part of a team for the University of Oxford's Procurement Department to produce a social procurement policy, framework and strategy.

Was a site engineer at a sewage treatment works in Essex, working on a construction scheme to increase the capacity of the current treatment plant.Project responsibilities included project documentation and quality assessment, resourcing and costing, general organisation of site work, liaising with the client and other sub-contractors.Technical engineering responsibilities included surveying and setting out works, producing technical drawings and structural works designs, as well as completing safety checks.

Managed a budget of £7000+ and doubled participation in both the men’s and mixed touch teams to 40+ people, achieving 2 league promotions. Organised the club’s first old boys’ fixture and tour in 4 years, on top of arranging fixtures, booking facilities, organising training sessions, and communicating with peers and officials.

Spoke with college alumni from around the world to gather information about them and to collect donations towards the college’s Student Support funds. Individually raised thousands of pounds.

Was responsible for the project’s initial marketing, launching the team’s social media accounts.

Worked in the warehouse managing stock, in the workshop making components for stands, then on-site building and dismantling stands for corporate, commercial and consumer markets.

Organised networking and social events for the university wide society, communicating with sponsors, members and venues.
