Working in the amazing Community Cardiology Department.

Working for Liverpool Hope Student's Union. Main role was to support student activities and events, from sporting teams to freshers fayres. I assisted in the management and organisation of over 20 sporting teams and supported over 30 student social groups in their creation, development and sustained engagement across all 3 campuses. During my time at the Union we were heavily effected by the COVID-19 Pandemic, therefore I was constantly adapting our modes of student engagement and methods to keep students active and engaged during such tough times. This was really challenging at times but also extremely rewarding being able to help so many students during such stressful times. I successfully launched multiple online health and fitness challenges, I ran weekly Wednesday games and activities for sport teams to engage with as their weekly fixtures were cancelled. We launched a virtual freshers fayre thanks to numerous meetings with a variety of companies who were all offering a range of engaging products, this took months of planning, promotion and organisation to allow for all students to access the fayre and to meet new people, get 'freebies' from companies and also engage with our vast array of student networks and groups, it was a very successful event and we received over 300 sign ups for our sporting teams alone, larger than in-person events previously!
