Supporting SSL and Neve analogue consoles, ProTools systems, numerous outboard and ancillary equipment, as well as the deployment of OSX across all the audio recording systems in the studios. Component level fault finding, as well as workflow solutions and assisting with the design and implementation of new facilities around the building.

Providing operational & technical training, servicing and commissioning of analogue and digital audio consoles, as well as on-site and telephone/email technical support nationally and interna- tionally for both broadcast and music studio clients. Often working in foreign countries under pressure and working through a translator. Writing technical documentation to support modifi- cations to be performed by employees in the field, as well as customers. Providing clients with technical and operational solutions, as well as on site testing of systems during commissioning to ensure correct performance and that the system met the requirements of the client. Working with IP based systems and understanding the Linux backend was a key part of the role, as was being flexible to understand existing systems and how to integrate with them.
